Is the ten times magnifying lens (loupe) a gimmick? Perhaps but this very unremarkable object is very special to me, and I am planning to take it on a bicycle tour around the world. I will work it into the pictures I take, explain its significance to the people that ask me about it and, I hope, use it as a trigger to collect money for some very worthy causes.
